When Champlin McCahill was first diagnosed with brain cancer, his friends and fellow students had the great idea of supporting him by making t-shirts for "Team Champ" and all posing together in them for a class photo. Champ now has that photo in his room at Mary Free Bed which helps let him know he has a lot of supporters behind him and to motivate him to keep fighting every day.
The extra t-shirts were given to friends and family of Champ, but they didn't last long and we continued to have had a lot of requests to get shirts to support Team Champ. Finally, we have made the arriangements to be able get more as needed and are able to offer them to anyone who wants to show their love for Team Champ.
Champ wanted to make a few changes, so the new round of shirts looks a little different than the original. We kept the same front logo, but changed the shirts to light grey color. They still have the sweet mohawk turle logo but Champ wanted to make a slight change to the message. A manatra of sorts, which he may not say every day, but definitely lives it...

-All proceeds will be donated by Champ to the charity of his choice. Most likely a mix between his major Team Champ supporters of Helen Devos' Children's Hospital and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
-We are ordering the inventory as orders come in and would like to make only a few mass orders, so if you are interested please get in touch as soon as possible so we can make the order.
-Once an order is made shirts should be shipped in 2-3 weeks.

We aren't trying to make this into a business or into a major headache as we all have enough on our plates, but we want to be able to get shirts and bracelets to all those who really want some to show their support. Especially since seeing people hold these shirts in front of celebrities or wearing them in unique places all over the globe really brings a smile to Champ's face. So if you do order a shirt or bracelet, we also offer the challenge to get creative and take a picture of the shirt somewhere interesting. Then email us the picture and we will post it on this blog or on Champ's carepage to show how the team is growing. Whether you are wearing the shirt on top of a mountain or just hanging out with it by the lake in the summertime, Champ loves seeing his Team grow and will fight even harder knowing the amount of love he has behind him as he battles to be victorious over cancer.
